Bush continues to beat the war drum. Every time he needs something, he raises the terror alert. However, it was on his watch that 911 occurred, and he has lied to propel us into a war in Iraq that was unnecessary. Why? War profiteers, stupidity, and a desire to win his daddy’s war. American have lost all respect overseas and abroad. I have never in my life been ashamed to be an American, but I think I have finally sunk to the lowest of lows; I am ashamed to be an American. Our country’s self esteem is shot. We have no credibility. His staff is running like rats leaving a sinking ship. Let’s get out of Iraq and save what self esteem we have left.

Bush pardoned Scooter Libby. Bush is a war criminal, and so is Libby. They are liars and thieves and only God can sort this mess out now and punish those who deserve it most. Lets elect Hillary Clinton. Politics with compassion.

Bush let those poor souls in New Orleans suffer, when the Government has the moral duty and power to do something about it. Never again should we be wasting trillions of dollars trying to export Democracy when we have our own citizens to protect. Let’s take care of Americans. “Brownie, your doing a heck of a job.”

Are you a Christian? Then do what Jesus would do. Lead by example, and don’t try to tell people what to do. People are free. Each man has free will. Let people make their own choices, and be free to do it, and they will be judged by God. This government that you, yes Christians, have elected, when Carl Rove courted your vote on the Republican ticket, is noted to be the worst Government in American history. Quite frankly, if the Church wants to run the government, then they should lose their tax exempt status.. Separation of Church and state is a constitutional issue. If the government doesn’t tax the Church, the Church shouldn’t run the government. And by the way, since when can a Democrat not be a Christian. Democrats espouse the politics of compassion. They help the weak, the poor, the downtrodden. Republicans help the rich and the powerful.
Are you a Christian? Then be a Democrat, and let all people be free. Adam and Eve had free will; they chose to eat from the forbidden fruit. They alone made that decision, and every American has that same right. Let people be free. Put Democrats in power, people that believe in freedom. Don’t tell you neighbor how to live. Lead by example.

1. Are you registered to vote? Register. Vote Democrat. I don’t care what your political beliefs are, but if you vote Republican because your pro-life or because your worried the Democrats are weak on defense, you’ve been sold a bill of goods by Carl Rove and George W. Bush. Unless you are in the top ten percent of earners in American, you would simply be a fool to vote Republican. They protect the rich, and stomp on your constitutional rights. The conservative movement is a lie. It was sold to you to get your vote, and then you got stabbed in the back.

2. Vote in local elections. The people that will effect your life the most are probably your local judges and law enforcement officials. I see a pattern of Republicans getting elected and they seem to have agendas. They see guilty people, they are pro-big business and pro-insurance. Put a compassionate Democrat on your local bench and see how compassion really works.

Help these young people that are using drugs. Lets not incarcerate them, lets treat them. Allow injured victims from accidents recover for their damages. Every man that drives a car or runs a business has a duty to do no harm, to avoid injury to his fellow man. If we lose these rights, we live in chaos and ruin.

3. Vote in state elections. Texas was one of the leaders in Democrat politics for decades. Ann Richards was one of the first women governors. She lead a Texas that I was proud to move to when I moved here 18 years ago. Now, Perry backs big insurance, big utilities, and trounces the rights of the injured and the victimized. Have you heard of Tort reform? There was a law passed by the Texas legislature that said injured people should not be able to claim damages for their medical bills if their insurance paid them.

Well, that sounds OK at first. However, these insurance companies have a right to get their money back out of your settlement; its called subrogation. The effect is that big insurance companies are getting richer, and injured people are getting used. They get their cut out of a shrinking pie. This session, the legislature sent a bill to correct this problem. The legislature intended to fix the problem this time, but Perry vetoed it. Why, because he is in the pocket of big business. Lets vote the bums out and get a government that cares about us.
